About GLG

Gamar Leadership Group is an international boutique management consultancy headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. The firm was conceptualized in 2015 at the Harvard Innovation Labs by two graduate students. Their goal was to rethink leadership development and help clients bravely address complex challenges. They founded GLG.

The firm works with ambitious clients who want to define the future. At its core is the belief that people have the capacity to become collaborative, innovative, and responsive while enhancing their organizations.

Our Team

Adel Gamar

CEO & Cofounder

Adel is driven to forge effective collaborations among business, government, and non-profit sectors while creating lasting and impactful solutions. Over the course of his career, he has advised and trained senior leaders and teams of Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, public sector agencies, and governments worldwide. He served as Education Specialist at UNESCO and Policy Fellow at Harvard Law School. He is Adjunct Professor at UBC Sauder School of Business.

Adel is Board Chair of Douglas College and Cofounder of The Gamar Foundation, a non-profit that aims to inspire, empower, and connect young people to make a positive difference in their communities.

He holds an MPA from Harvard and a B.Ed. from the University of Calgary.

Naomi Khan

Chief Operating Officer

Naomi believes that successful operations rely on authentic communication and trust. When leading and managing people, she combines a drive for efficiency with a commitment to supporting the teams that make up the organization. She does this by amplifying the talents and skills of each team member with a constant eye on measurable goals.

Naomi is Cofounder of The Gamar Foundation and serves on the Board of Societé Place Maillardville Society. She holds a BComm with distinction from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and a MSHN summa cum laude from Hawthorne University.
